Pulled muscles will happen when the muscle doesnt have capacity to cope with what we’re asking from it. This often happens when we are playing sport, have a sudden change in lifestyle, or if there’s a gradual build up of tension from lifes daily movements.

Shin splints feels like pain in the front of the shins, worse with walking or running. This comes from a muscular issue with tibialis anterior, and is often associated with the foot movement.

Ankle Concerns
Recently sprained ankle can be assisted in their recovery with sports therapy. Repeat sprains or undiagnosed ankle issues will benefit from having a consultation with a sports therapist to get to the cause, and then treatment will often centre around soft tissue release and strengthening the supportive muscles.
